High Street Licensing prepares and submits your Minor Variation accurately and efficiently, ensuring your application is compliant and processed without delay.

Premises Licence Transfer & Change of DPS

When a business changes ownership or appoints a new Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS), the Licensing Authority must be formally notified. Both processes are straightforward, but they must be completed correctly as selling alcohol without the correct licence holder or DPS in place is an offence under the Licensing Act 2003.

High Street Licensing handles both applications quickly and accurately, ensuring your paperwork is compliant and your business continues trading without interruption.

What’s included

Consultation to confirm the correct licence holder or DPS details

Confirmation once the updated licence is granted

Temporary Event Notices

A Temporary Event Notice (TEN) allows you to carry out licensable activities, such as selling alcohol, providing late‑night refreshment, or regulated entertainment, for a short period of time without needing a full Premises Licence. TENs are ideal for one‑off events, private functions, pop‑ups, charity fundraisers, and seasonal celebrations.

TENs are simple, but they must be submitted correctly and within strict deadlines. A rejected or invalid TEN can stop an event from going ahead. We ensure your notice is accurate, compliant, and submitted on time, giving you the peace of mind and allowing you to focus on running your event.

High Street Licensing prepares and submits your TENs accurately and on time, ensuring your event is legally compliant and protected from last‑minute objections.

What’s included

Consultation to confirm your event details

Advice on timings, capacity limits, and legal restrictions

Drafting a fully compliant TEN

Submission to the Licensing Authority

Confirmation once your TEN is authorised

Pricing

Our professional fee for submitting a Temporary Event Notice starts from £54. When you include the statutory council fee, the lowest total cost for a complete TEN application is typically £75.

Standard TENs must be submitted at least 10 clear working days before the event.
